The Hosting Solutions Specialist position requires a strong emphasis on designing technical solutions and presentation skills of various technologies including the virtualization, cloud computing, SAN storage, firewall and network security.
The Hosting Solutions Specialists are empowered to work directly in a team with the customers suppliers as well as internal Architecture & Integration team and Operations staff. As the company´s internal Service provider you will offer hybrid solutions encompassing public clouds, private clouds, colocation services, content delivery networks, block based cloud storage, web application firewall, etc. to the local markets of the customer. You will work in a team of specialists who are expected to be leaders in the field of Cloud Computing, Data Center technologies and Internet technologies. You will help the customer to build a reputation within the industry as the visionaries in digital and social.
The Hosting Solutions Specialist, will be expected to have a strong background in the managed hosting and cloud services environment to be able to define customer requirements and translate those requirements into central managed technical solutions. The Hosting Solutions Specialist should be able to articulate these solutions in a manner that is technically accurate and drives the individual countries to success with commercial efficiency.
The core product set offered by the department you will work includes but is not limited to; IP service, Managed Hosting, Cloud Services, Web Application Firewall, Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Colocation.
Responsibilities:
- The central function is to act in a consultative role for the individual countries and work directly with market’s technical counterparts to identify specific requirements and design custom solutions within the departments Offering Portfolio to meet functional requirements.

- The second main function is to purchase, agreed with the individual countries, solutions from the departments suppliers in a managed competition environment following states of art, RFQ/RFP process in the best interest of the company.

- Coordinate the delivery of the designed and purchased solution to the individual countries ensuring those meet Digital Asset Hosting standards and transition of the solution to sustain and operational teams.

- The Hosting Solutions Specialist is accountable for having a thorough understanding of standards and detailed knowledge across the spectrum of Internet technologies, such as Managed Hosting, Cloud Computing, Colocation and Data Center Services, Web Application Firewall and Content Delivery Networks.

- The Hosting Solution Specialist will also have a deep knowledge of web applications, servers, networking equipment and storage to design solutions for the individual countries dedicated managed hosting as well as its cloud services (compute and storage).

- Internally, the Hosting Solution Specialist is the interface for the suppliers and the operational staff across the organisation.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree is strongly desired

- Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT Operations, Managed Hosting or Cloud Computing required

- Experience with public and private cloud technologies, dedicated and multi-tenancy environments

- Deep understanding of web, eCommerce, B2B, social and mobile applications: how they function, interact and ultimately how to protect them

- Experience in Managed Hosting infrastructure to include Enterprise Networking, Servers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IP Connectivity and SAN Storage

- Computing experience in Microsoft Enterprise and Linux OS in terms of configuration, sizing, performance etc. Microsoft and Red Hat certifications highly desirable

- Strong understanding of security aspects of hosting infrastructure and web, eCommerce, B2B, social and mobile applications

- Strong written and verbal communications skills

- Ability to write and defend technical business proposals

- Confident sales presence, refined sales acumen and the ability to exert influence appropriately
