Job description, responsibilities and duties

In this role you will be responsible for the complete Import and Export of Air and Ocean processes for a portfolio of customers. In cooperation with the team you will ensure that all shipments are being handled smoothly taking the needs of the customer into account.

In this function you are not only responsible for coordinating and arranging the transport, but also responsible for arranging all the documentation such as customs documents, issuing Airway Bills and Bills of Lading, arranging buying rates and issuing the invoices, as well as making offers / quotations to our customers, agents and offices worldwide.

A pro-active approach to take initiative in improving processes within the department is an additional benefit the ideal candidate will possess.

- Handling of import and export orders, custom clearances and documentation

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

Czech - Proficiency (C2) or English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

- 2-3 years working experience within the Air and Ocean freight forwarding industry
- Native or bilingual Czech
- Excellent knowledge of the English Language, verbal and written. Additional European
languages are an asset
- Customer-focused, detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a pressurized environment
- No 9 to 5 mentality and willing to get the job done
