Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of the role:
CBRE has the responsibility to provide a service to maintain a global space, occupancy and reporting platform on behalf of an international Bank. The platform is used by different levels and functions across the organization to support effective space management and ultimately cost saving. The main service levels are to ensure accuracy and quality of the data stored in the system; the provision of monthly reports which are used to chargeback space occupied by the business; and to support the business processes to ensure requests for change and information flow is efficient.

• Update platform to reflect additions and changes to building layouts and occupancy; ensure accuracy of input by undertaking verification activities with other personnel and clients.
• Ensure space standards and business rules are followed and policed.
• Provide reports and analysis using the platform to support contract deliverables.
• Work to meet project commitments related to time constraints on deliverables and quality expectations.
• Distribute templates to capture changes to all associated individuals and manage the timely receipt including escalation processes where applicable.
• Seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities that improve efficiency and benefit clients and other team members; keep abreast of technology changes and training requirements related to the role.

• Administers platform users and their access rights
• Other duties as assigned.

Personality requirements and skills

• Strong comprehension of industry standards in space management.
• High attention to detail.
• Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
• Previous knowledge of any space management platforms preferred (Manhattan, Archibus, Tririga, Planon, etc.)
• AutoCAD 2004 onwards experience is not essential but a great benefit.
• Effective interpersonal skills, especially communication. (verbal / written)
• Strong planning and organizing skills.
• Proficient in use of software especially MS Office applications.
• Business English on advanced level, other foreign language is a benefit.
• Over 1 year’s demonstrable experience in branch or comparable business.
