Functions

Within a team of twelve, you will:

Record day-to-day accounting transactions.

Prepare and follow up requests for reimbursement of VAT levied by France and other countries.

Contribute to the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of the accounts.

Prepare preliminary analyses and audits of the accounts and keep records.

Contribute to ensuring compliance with the accounting standards in force and the optimisation of accounting procedures.

Log and analyse problems encountered.

Qualification required

Diploma in the field of accounting/financial administration, or equivalent.*

*Please note that preference will be given to candidates with the above-mentioned level of qualifications; candidates with a higher level of education will not normally be considered for this vacancy.

The experience required for this post is:

At least three years of accounting experience, ideally acquired in an accounting firm, a large industrial group or an international organisation.

Experience of applying the IFRS and IPSAS standards would be an advantage.

Experience of the accounting processes involved in the procurement cycle, from purchasing to paying suppliers, would be an advantage.


The technical competencies required for this post are:

Book-keeping: knowledge of the IFRS and/or IPSAS international accounting standards.

Book-closing.

Financial reporting and analysis.
