Job description, responsibilities and duties

Functions

You will join a dynamic team of HR professionals as the assistant to the Fellows programme coordinator, and you will be working closely with her on a range of new projects to develop this programme which has grown and diversified enormously over the past 5 years. Your functions will include:

Provide support over the full range of activities in the Fellowship programme such as:


Assisting in the establishment of contracts.

Dealing with special ad-hoc requests for the publication of specific positions.

Verifying the eligibility of candidates.

Organising video interviews for candidates.

Processing requests for training on the central Fellows budget.

Contribute to improving and streamlining administrative processes.

Provide support to event or meeting organisation, in particular preparing presentations.

Provide support in the administration of Marie Curie Actions.

Subsequently you may be assigned to specialist tasks as required.

Qualification required

Technical certificate or general secondary education in the field of General administration, or equivalent, and professional training in the field of secretarial and administrative methods, or equivalent.

*Please note that preference will be given to candidates with the above-mentioned qualifications: In principle consideration will not be given to applications from people with higher qualifications.

The experience required for this post is:


Experience of a variety of administrative and secretarial support tasks, preferably in a HR-related field.


The technical competencies required for this post are:


Customer service.

Secretarial service.

Conference, workshop & event organisation.

Text editing and proof-reading.

Use of Office software packages.
