Job specification

Strategic management of capital is a crucial role for CS financial group. As a B-2 level manager he/she will be responsible for Capital planning and forecasting and capital management strategies leading to optimization of the capital structure and capital usage in CS group.

Scope of the Unit
  • Capital planning & forecasting, sensitivity analyses
  • Supporting the executive leadership team by development of strategies leading to the efficient usage of the capital within CS group; responsibility for implementation of these strategies
  • Integration of capital strategies into steering tools (e.g. performance management framework)
  • Recovery & resolution planning
  • Impact analysis of the new regulations related to capital on business & funding strategy of the CS group, it’s balance sheet structure and profitability, risk profile and capital ratios (incl. MREL)
  • Responsibility for implementation of the new regulations related to capital
  • Proactive role in the discussions with the regulators, EBA, European Commission, banking associations (within Czech republic and EU) on new regulatory initiatives related to capital issues
  • Alignment of capital management policies, strategies and other capital-related activities with EGB

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Capital management or similar area (ALM, Risk management, Controlling)
  • Conceptual & strategic thinking and ability to solve complex issues
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills
  • Influential and networking skills are a must
  • Knowledge of financial markets, risk & capital related regulations
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
