The Business Entity
StealthWatch (formerly Lancope), now a part of Cisco’s Advanced Threat portfolio together with AMP, ThreatGrid and Cognitive Threat Analytics (CTA) – the industry, leading security products. StealthWatch complements the Advanced Threat portfolio by providing detailed network visibility and security intelligence to protect enterprises against today’s top threats
The Team
StealthWatch is establishing its presence in the Cisco’s Prague R&D center alongside the existing CTA and AMP R&D teams. We are building several scrum teams in Prague, which will closely cooperate both with the existing StealthWatch teams in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA as well as CTA and AMP teams located in Prague, Czech Republic and Calgary, Canada. StealthWatch products as well as impacting the other products of the Advanced Threat portfolio..
Our team is on the forefront of cyber-security, and is responsible for the design and development of appliance-based network security products. As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for driving the UI vision of our product by implementing cutting-edge front end solutions. Role & Responsibilities
● Collaborate with the UI design process that includes accepting and managing feedback and constructive criticism. Lean Startup and responding to feedback loops.
● Establish UI best-practices, patterns, and development frameworks.
● Work with engineering team to design and implement server-side components to support UI data flows.
● Stay current on web standards, best practices, pitfalls of developing for cross-browser compatibility and scalable, responsive web-design
● Provide mentoring for the engineering team around UI concepts and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications
● At least 4+ years of software development experience using: JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AngularJS
● Experience with designing and implementing server-side components (e.g., MVC HTTP REST web services, caching, authentication and authorization) for supporting UI requirements.
● Experience with JavaScript frameworks similar to YUI, ExtJS, Protoype, jQuery Mobile, Backbone.js, AngularJS, MarionetteJS.
● Comfortable switching roles between web UI design and software development depending on the stage of the product.
● Experience designing user interfaces involving complex data visualization
Desired Skills
● Familiarity with Network Security
● Experience in Java development
● Willingness to continually learn new technologies and techniques
