Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our Office in Prague, at the earliest date possible we are looking for a professional and customer minded person to fulfil the position:

• Import Customer Service

Your tasks will include the following activities:

The job holder releases incoming containers at the terminals and sends invoices to the customers after having checked the bills of lading, orders and the payability of invoices, with the goal, to guarantee a smooth workflow within the Import Customer Service. Moreover, the job holder provides the customer with prompt, reliable and accurate information about incoming shipments and shipping details.

• serves customer by telephone within the scope of the Import Customer Service
• sends arrival notices in respect of incoming containers to the customers
• demands missing documents from the ports of loading
• creates discharge lists for the terminals
• checks the completeness of discharging lists of terminals
• sends temperature settings for reefer containers to the terminals
• releases containers at the terminals
• checks the customer orders before releasing containers
• checks the playability of invoices before releasing containers
• prints and sends invoices to the customers
• forwards redelivery requests for empty containers to the Import Equipment Control
• passes information (manifests among others) to the Land Statistical Office and the Custom

• Language Skills: fluent English in written and spoken language
