Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities:
· Prepare harness 3D models/drawings/ formboards using Catia Electrical Work Bench
· Control, definition and checking of work packages with the Cyient offshore team in India
· Manage technical response from inputs from customers and suppliers
· Ensure designs are compliant to customer and legislative requirements
· Attending First Article Inspections at equipment suppliers or visiting customers design/manufacturing facilities
· Decisions making on quality of design output, packaging of equipment, construction methodology and engineering design structure/Engineering Bill of Materials
· Database management and detail drawing

Personality requirements and skills
Profile:
· Engineering based degree
· At least 5 years previous knowledge & experience of rolling stock electrical design
· PC literate Microsoft Office
· Catia V5 Electrical Work Bench, PDM, (preferable)
· Experience of Leadership or working as part of a team of design engineers in the development of complex transportation products, such as rolling stock, aerospace or automotive
· Good communication skills
· Fluent English OR German language (writing and reading) are a must. Czech language is beneficial · Engineering Leadership skills are highly valuable as design Engineers with the appropriate ability may be required to lead teams subject to project and operational requirements.
· Engineering based degree
