Accounting Specialist

Danfoss Global Services (GS) is the internal provider of Financial Services, General Administration, Real Estate and Logistics. GS is organized into Geographies (Regions) and Focus Areas. First are responsible for the implementation and execution of the strategies, policies and services as defined by the Focus Areas, and in accordance with the service level agreements with the Divisions. And the second area is in charge of strategy, policy and process development for their respective scope.

As Accounting Specialist you will be responsible for

• Performing accounting and controlling tasks as per the Danfoss Finance Program procedures for Czech republic
• Group accounting, statutory accounting and compliance area and annual budget preparation with monthly follow-ups on deviations
• Maintaining quality of accounting and reporting
• First point of contact for ad hoc finance queries
• Backing up of Regional Finance Manager in selected areas

Your education and experience

• At least Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting with 3 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Very good knowledge of Czech accounting and tax system
• Fluent in English language
• SAP experience or Hyperion financial management system knowledge will be an advantage
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and responsibly as well as a part of a team
• Analytical capability and highly detail orientated, committed to high standards, honesty, integrity and adaptability
• Very good communication skills, cultural differences awareness and sensitivity
• Willingness to work in matrix organization, incl. outsourcing
