Financial Analysis Advisor – Statistical Analysis

GENERAL SUMMARY
The financial analysis advisor will provide analytical support to the most senior executives at Dell, by preparation of various reports, predictions, and ad-hoc views about key business metrics and about key trends on IT market.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analytical support for the most senior executives and decision makers at Dell
• Preparation of quarterly competitive analyses that compare Dell performance and financials versus key competitors
• Preparation of various ad-hoc analyses about dynamic of selected IT markets, highlighting key drivers behind the main market movements (analyzing worldwide PC, server, storage and other IT markets)
• Analytical support for regular weekly management reporting, providing commentaries on key internal business metrics and preparation of statistical predictions on future business trajectory
• Development of statistical predictive models for overall IT market
• Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure timelines and accuracy of data sources
• Development of automation tools that support team analytical capabilities
