ERP Consultant - Sage X3

- Prepare and proceed with pre-sales presentations;
- Analyze customer’s activity in detail and propose the best solutions that would switch the customer needs;
- Write documentation;
- Support the customers on site or remotely;
- Analyze and put in a business process request form, the local Law requests and send to developers;
- Provide training;
- Implement the system;
- Sustain the team when the case, in order to assure the deadlines are met;
- Follow on his/she’s field, the allocated budgets per each project.

The consultant must know the customer's business and have a good command of the Sage ERP X3 software for functions that are useful for the client.

The consultant is assigned to design so X3 modules and cutting areas for consultant is as follows:

1. Finance consultants are assigned to the general accounting modules, Receivables and Payables Accounting and the interface with the other Sage’s modules: Stock, Purchases and Sales. With his/she’s experience, the Finance consultant must have strong trading knowledge (purchasing, sales and inventory flows). Finance consultant is responsible for implementation of the cost controlling elements in collaboration with the distribution consultants

2. The Production & Logistics Consultants are assigned to all Sage ERP X3 modules, except the general accounting modules, Receivables and Payables Accounting. With his/she’s experience, the Production & Logistics consultant must have finance knowledge.

The consultants must be able to perform the following tasks, for the modules that concern his/she’s area:

- Provide training on Sage X3;
- Search for the best solutions into Sage ERP X3 to meet the customers’ requests, and on an implementation Project (front office) or hotline (back office); this means that - on one hand, the consultant should take care systematically to allocate the necessary time to manage X3 and on the other hand, he/she will should not deliver to the customer a solution that was not previously verified;
- Consider and understand the client's needs and ensure the adequacy Sage ERP X3 solutions;
- More precisely, this is to advise (see guide) the client to the solutions that are possible with Sage ERP X3 and compatible with the good practices of the trade. So, it is advisable to use the standard Sage ERP X3 and when this is not possible, or not desired by the client, the consultant must be able to describe the changes to the Deveho’s Team, in order that Sage ERP X3 to meet the customer’s needs;
- Have the knowledge and abilities to write documents that describe the Sage ERP X3 solution for a customer (operations rules, rules to set up, usage limits, and so on). The documents will be drafted in the project’s language (English is by default);
- Be able to understand minimal programming issues and write/adjust formulas into the X3’s functions, in order to make sure that the settings are correctly applied;
- Be able to provide the correct setting for Sage ERP X3;
- Check features with concern to the localization, when new version is in place;
- Adjust/translate functions when those not done, or not correctly done;
- Meet the allocated budgets for each project phase, or alert, soon as possible, if the budget was exceed;
- Work independently and seek for help if that is needed;
- Observe the instructions provided by the senior consultants and did not "invent" its own solutions;
- The consultant shall report the unusual problems that raised up on his/she’s area, so that not to miss a case already treated by others experienced consultants;
- The consultant shall ensure that the overall coherence of the proposed solutions, by confronting them with colleagues working on the same project;
- With experience, the consultant must be able to provide pre-sales demonstrations, which involves having the capacity to convince the prospects that X3 is the best solution for them;
- The consultant must always be the seller of the solution, answers throughout the project and must therefore have a positive and constructive attitude;
- He/she should reassure the customer address changes, induced by the ERP projects and thus exercise with psychology he meets the various stakeholders in the projects.
