Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are now looking to build a new management team for a brand new international customer service call centre which will be based in Prague. Our client is an already well established international company with offices in the United States and Asia. The new Prague centre is part of an expansion plan to allow them to provide European customer service coverage to their existing clients, and grow their presence on the European market.

Responsibilities
- Prepares figures for annual budget and ensures that spending is maintained within the approved limits and that appropriate approvals exist for any deviations.
- Evaluates and introduces cost-savings projects and develops financial policies and processes to safeguard company's interests.
- Prepares monthly statements analyzing and investigating variances, summarizing data, information, and trends.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Reports Monthly Balance Sheet.
- Maintains and monitors accurate financial records for the company
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting of Taxation, government premiums and employees' salary loans, and other governmental reports.
- Ensures accurate and timely payroll payment to employees,
- Ensures timely payment of vendors / suppliers and reconcile accounts ledgers.
- Develop forecasting reports.
- Develops and manages financial practices, financial tools, accounting procedures and internal controls
- Works with Human Resource Manager to establish/enhance policies and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Interacts with the different department managers both local and international.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Czech - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

We require

- 3 years’ experience of Finance and Accounting.
- Experience in all areas of accounting, including taxation including local taxes.
- Experience handling Czech government statutory reporting and remittances.
- Must be able to work independently and under minimum supervision.
- You must have the ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment.
- Degree in finance/accounting and/or equivalent accounting studies (for example ACCA qualification).
- Advanced/Fluent English language skills,
- Advanced/Fluent Czech language skills,
