Pharmacovigilance specialist

We are looking for experienced candidate for this position to original pharmaceutical company. Position is a maternity leave substitution.

• Assists in the maintenance of company’s compliance with respect to laws, regulations and guidance associated with the licensure of the medicinal products with respect to patient safety
• Assures the correct implementation and observation of all safety related Standard Operating Procedures, Working Procedures and Operational Instructions
• Collects, reviews, processes and distributes the adverse event information in all therapeutic areas; Submits the individual case safety reports to the local Slovak Health Authorities according to the local regulations
• Participates in local safety issue and crisis management activities
• Contributes in local safety observation detection and review of local relevant medical literature according with the PV standard operations and procedures
• Education and training within the local organization; documentation of topics addressed during the training and of participants in the training
• Contributes to the ‘best practice’ environment in Pharmacovigilance in Country to warrant the safety of the patients and company’s products.
• Helps to raise and maintain the profile of Global Pharmacovigilance within the company, while balancing needs of external customers and stakeholders.
• Works with other business groups to ensure that Pharmacovigilance is represented and that knowledge of products in the Country are brought into the GPV Organization.
