Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our clients IT Department is looking for a Business Analyst SAP Purchasing, based in Mlada Boleslav (Czech Republic), to participate in their European SAP program.
The main purpose of the job is to roll-out the core model on the SAP domain (Purchasing), to configure the corresponding ERP modules together with our competence center and to ensure a functional support in phase project. The Business Analyst works with the key users nominated on the site and the consultants employed by our competence center.
He ensures that the different stakeholders collaborate properly.

Main missions and results:
SAP expertise and system implementation:
- Acts as internal SAP expert for his domain: configuration of the corresponding modules in close cooperation with the competence center
- Supports ERP Domain Leader in developing SAP functional expertise
- Runs functional tests, specifically during sites implementations

Function support on the system :
- Writes/maintains functional documentation and specifications for programmers
- Ensures third level support during the project phase
- Tracks bug fixing internally, with the competence center or with editor

IT support :
- Support the integration activities for data migration, interfaces and data warehouse


This job is an excellent opportunity to implement one's functional skills at the service of a project aiming at the improvement of the processes and the implementation of a new global ERP, and thus advantageously to develop a dual competency, technique and functional.
With a strong international dimension, this project developed in a multicultural environment requires profiles with a first functional experience and ideally supplemented by the implementation of a ERP (SAP or other).
Mobility is a key success factor for the project team, which will move along site in site each semester (with weekly return tickets).

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Master degree in Engineering or Business School
- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) within SAP; Good MM (60%) and SRM (40%) experience
- PM (Plant Maintenance) knowledge is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in the appropriate domain of expertise (Purchasing)
- Successfull experience in ERP set-up for his domain
- Customizing experience and ABAP programming (optional)
- Experience in project implementation
- Good communication and expression skills in an international environment
- Good level of English (spoken & written), German is a plus
