Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our client, international FMCG company, very attractive employer, we are looking for succesful, initiative, independent candidate with strong sales background, analytic skills and good understanding of marketing tools and customer behavior.

Position is without direct subordinates.

Place of work: Košice + 50% travel within East and Middle SK.

Job discription:

• Support for Area Sales Manager and shared responsibility for regional plans development, based on market and consumer segment needs.
• Design and coordinate large-scope commercial & brand projects, lead mid-size projects covering optimal communication channels, tools, scope, concept and mechanics for roll-out of particular commercial activities.
• Manage all inputs from field force in respect to budget, sources and agreed strategies.
• After-action review including specific follow up leading to performance indicators’ improvement.
• Manage cross-functional and cross-market (CZ) interface.
• Plan, control and monitor budget spending for commercial initiatives.
• Propose tailor-made training materials and tools, co-ordinate and organize training sessions.
• Close cooperation with superior, marketing department (CZ), sales department
• Work with marketing and sales data, preparation of presentations, arguments for board, supervisors or managers with aim to improve sales results, or to support commercial activities

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- English on advanced level (C1/C2) - presentations for board, cross-department communication only in English
- min. 2 years experience in FMCG, preferably in sales or trade marketing (appropriate could be experiences in Telco, pharma...)
- overall min. 5 years of sales or marketing experience

- Strong independent personality, able to bring new ideas
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision or coaching, quick learner
- Great project management skills
- Drive, ability to enthuse others
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work with data, understand the results etc.
- Willingness to travel accross the region (East and Middle Slovakia), and 2-3 days in month to HQ in Bratislava
