Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Preparation of CAD drawings, technical files, prototypes, product concept and design, part qualification, user manual updates, internal test reports, etc.
- Create 3D models and detailed mechanical drawings according to ISO, GD&T
- Applying international standards (UL, CSA, CE, …).
- Create detailed mechanical design specifications and test/qualification plan
- Peparation of supporting materials and documentations
- On demand / per request work
- Working in laboratory
- Co-operation with colleagues in Brno as well as in other Europe, Asia and USA locations

Personality requirements and skills
- At least 3 years work experience in 3D modelling / 2D drawings preparation
- Essential to speak English on level needed for communication within team. Other languages are advantage, but not essential (mainly French)
- Essential to have excellent knowledge of SolidWorks (surfaces, assemblies, simulations)
- Essential to have excellent knowledge of Markups, marking, standards for documentation and 2D data preparation
- Essential to have good knowledge of manufacturing processes for plastics / metal parts
- Preferred to have Good knowledge of mechanical industry and small/medium production.
- Preffered to have good knowledge of other 3D CAD (Windshield, ANSYS, CATIA or Pro-E or other CADs)
