Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Testing of mechanical properties of materials, parts and assemblies including reliability, pre-certificaiton tests for personal protective equipment, life time tests and others as needed
- Definition of test cases, mainly for mechanical parts and assemblies based on specificaitons and requirements
- Performing testing of mainly for mechanical parts and assemblies
- Applying international standards (UL, CSA, CE, …) and Honeywell internal processes
- Following of Verification and Validation processes
- Peparation of supporting materials and documentations
- On demand / per request work
- Working in laboratory
- Co-operation with colleagues in Brno as well as in other Europe, Asia and USA locations

Personality requirements and skills
- Essential to speak English on level needed for communication within team
- Essential to have experience for at least 3 years within similar field
- Essential to have good knowledge of statistics, capability studies and tolerance analysis
- Preferred to have Good knowledge of mechanical industry and small/medium production.
- Preffered to have good knowledge of electronic assemblies and be able to do modificaitons on electrical devices
- Knowledge of reliability testing and analysis methods is an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming (C,, LabView…) is an advantage.
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo) is an advantage
- Essential to have experience for at least 3 years within similar field
