Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Planning, performing and documenting Design Quality Assurance and industry standard product tests of gas detection instruments on New Product Introductions
- Testing of new products, components of sub-assemblies for use in new and legacy products
- Working in gas detection laboratory
- Applying international standards (UL, CSA, CE, ATEX, SIL)
- Support designing test equipment (test stands) – both hardware and software
- Creating technical reports (test procedure definition, records, results and summaries, certification documents)
- Co-operation with colleagues in Brno as well as in other Europe, Asia and USA locations
- Occasional travel, mostly in Europe
- Testing of new products, components of sub-assemblies for use in new and legacy products
- Working in gas detection laboratory

- Knowledge of programming (C,, LabView…) is an advantage
