Analog & Power Specialized Engineer (f/m)

for our Technical Support Center in Prague.

The EBV Technical Support Center is a team of experienced engineers, supporting our sales team across Europe to solve technical inquiries from mass market customers. It is office-based position and support is mainly provided via email, phone and knowledgebase portal.

Job Description

• Provides technical support on EBV Analog and Power product portfolio to the EBV Sales Team for identified business opportunities and formulate satisfactory technical proposals solving customer needs, problems and design challenges.
• Applies Analog & Power applications knowledge for cross-selling and part recommendation.
• Gains expert level knowledge in the Analog & Power semiconductor area, obtaining and maintaining the required franchise partners certifications.
• Participates actively in the Application Engineers trainings, developing deep technical competence for Analog & Power and generic knowledge of the whole EBV product portfolio.
• Works together with the regional sales organization and interacts with the EBV Technical community and franchise partners support resources.
• Contributes with technical inputs to the EBV Knowledgebase. Shares product and application knowledge with colleagues.
• Maintain current knowledge of technology and market developments (including competition) in the electronics industries as well as latest innovations in product development.

Job Requirements

• Engineering Degree, 5+ years’ experience in semiconductors/electronics industry in applications engineering, preferably in customer support roles.
• Areas of expertise: Analog signal conditioning, Data Conversion, Linear circuits, Isolation, Power electronics (power supplies, power conversion, etc.).
• Fluent in English, verbally and in writing. Other European languages are a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills being a team player and relationship building capabilities.
• Willing to travel occasionally (regionally &I nternationally).
