Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Ecolog is looking for ambitious new team colleagues for the food production service in Germany. The Dining Facilities are located Germany-wide on US military garrisons in Wiesbaden, Kaiserslautern, Baumholder and Bavaria. For a new project location we want you to join us in Ansbach Area, South Germany/Bavaria starting latest April, 2015.
You will be working in a team of minimum 10 other chef professionals and create the meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner based on the standardized receipt card system of the US Army.
Therefore reading, understanding and speaking English is a must criteria. Operation hours are between 5:30 and 19:30 hrs and the Dining Facility operates MO- SUN. We offer a minimum of 40 working hours/week, social contributions like health care, 20 days annual leave and a wage according to German regulations.

EVERYDAY, EVERYWHERE, ECOLOG
Main duties:
• Performing preliminary food preparation procedures
• Performing specific cooking methods as prescribed by Army recipes
• Setting up serving lines and garnishing food items
• Serve meals to soldiers & civilians at the service line
• Applying food protection and sanitation measures in the DFAC
• Receiving and storing subsistence items
• Operating, maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Following Ecolog Lead Cook instructions
• Friendly, customer service orientated, teamwork and hands-on mentality
