Finance Manager Central Europe (AT, CZ, HU, CH, SK)

The Finance Manager Central Europe is a proactive business partner to the General Manager Central Europe and his CE management members, providing analytical insight, strategic planning and execution support in order to grow business profitable and maximizing cash flow. This includes participation in and preparing for regular management meetings, business reviews, President's Operation Report/forecasts, Mid-Year and Budget reviews. The Finance Manager is directly reporting to Regional Finance Director and has responsibility to supervise the five finance managers within Central Europe organization (Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary Sales Offices) to ensure appropriate financial reporting / analysis / planning, asset management, banking / legal and Internal financial controls.

- Manages and directs the financial activities within Central Europe including leading the 5 local Finance Managers

- Leads and controls the budgeting and financial planning process for the combined Sales Organization

- Is responsible for the monthly corporate and Business Unit consolidation as well as reporting of the actual and expected financial performance (POR)

- Directs and consolidates the financial planning process for Central Europe

- Coordinates and drives the receivable collection / DSO process

- Engages in ‘Perfect Execution’ initiatives to help maximize cash flow

- Very proactive engagement in the upcoming Oracle implementations

- Ensures the Sales Organization adheres to the Emerson financial procedures and reporting requirements

- Analyzes country and Business Unit activities to propose improvements in sales, gross profit, and SG&A cost structures

- Manages cash facilities and looks for financing opportunities to support the business

- Liaises with relevant external bodies such as auditors, tax authorities, banks etc.

- Maintains appropriate internal controls in compliance with SOX and Emerson CP&P’s

- Attends regular management meetings to support organizational and strategic planning of Central Europe
