Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our client is a multinational tier-1 automotive supplier. The company is dynamically growing in several locations in Czechia and there will be further investments. We are currently looking for a plant manager for a location in Southern Bohemia.
Tasks:
1. Taking over full responsibility the plant in Southern Bohemia
with all subordinate functions:
- Production
- Plant Quality
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Material Management / Customer Service
- H&S
- Lean
2. Achieving goals with regards to:
- H&S
- Customer satisfaction
- Quality
- Cost and performance
- Volume and timeliness
- Budget
3. Participates in the formulation of and is responsible for the implementation of local strategy, principles, policies and objectives
4. Organizational development, talent management
5. Proper communication
6. Provides personal direction that encourages the plant to be a leader in ethical business practices, responsive to the needs of customers and the general public
7. Interviews, selects and hires qualified individual for key management positions in the plant

University education (Master's degree)
Educational Specialization
Technical master’s degree or equivalent
Language skills
Czech - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

- Has managed relevant headcount (+500 FTEs) and complex structures with multifaceted issues to be prioritized
- Process optimization
- People management, talent development
- Strong safety and quality background
- Experience working in a benchmark production systems environment
