Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The focus of the BI Qlikview Expert is to autonomously manage, develop and deploy Qlikview projects across all functions and regions of Sandoz/OTC. In addition the Qlikview Expert will be assisting in the support of existing Qlikview applications
Major accountability / deliverables:
- Direct responsibility for a number of high-profile BI Qlikview projects, including the project management, business analysis, customer engagement and technical development of Qlikview applications.
- Contribute to the development of the Qlikview Service strategy, including leading work on upgrades, landscape optimization and consolidation, implementation and implementation of Qlikview 3rd party software.
- Qlikview service to the business
- Ability to communicate the strategy, capability, benefits and opportunities of BI in general and Qlikview in particular to a variety of stakeholders – including senior management
- Actively learn and identify key BI and Qlikview market trends and identify and propose opportunities for their usage in Novartis (eg Mobile, Self-Service, new tools and technologies)
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the guidelines on the usage of the Qlikview technology in compliance with best practices and the Novartis security and regulatory frameworks.
Specific technical knowledge and experience:
- Minimum 3 year-experience working with Qlikview
- Strong Project Management experience, with knowledge of PMP / Prince2 practice preferred
- Good knowledge of SAP concepts, business processes and scenarios preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of business intelligence, system design and data warehouse architecture
- Fundamental knowledge of BI technology standards
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and related compliancy requirements and processes preferred

- Bachelor degree and/or relevant business experience
