UX Designer

An innovative fintech start-up based in Dublin (Ireland) with Silicon Valley ties, is setting up a new operation in Prague (Czech) and is looking to recruit a number of experienced Business Analyst.

Responsibilities include:
The successful candidate for this role will exhibit attention to detail, consistently deliver high quality work and be able to react to changing business needs. You will work collaboratively with a strong team of business managers, developers and designers. You will lead the overall User Experience and will be a champion for user experience within our start-up. You will be responsible for designing specific user experiences in our products and also ensuring that consistent design patterns are followed.
You will join an expanding team of experienced professionals, who are at the forefront of building cutting-edge mobile and web solutions for the global financial services marketplace. Skills / Experience:

● Bachelor or Master’s degree in HCI, art, design, user interface design, human factors or related field
● 5+ years industry experience in the development of user interfaces, web interfaces, mobile applications, from concepts and wireframes through to final design and execution
● Track record of delivery and experience working in teams developing software or web applications
● Strong business acumen with the ability to distill complex issues into elegant digital solutions
● Experience in leading UX research activities
● Ability to visualize concepts quickly and cleanly through development of core UX assets: site maps,
personas, user journeys and wireframes, transaction flows, diagrams and interface schematics
● Web / mobile development experience for application prototyping is highly desirable
● Good working knowledge of CSS, HTML/HTML5, Adobe Creative Suite
● Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills
● Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
● Candidates must be enthusiastic and enjoy working hard while getting the job done
