Senior Accountant

Main Responsibilities of the role:

1. Ensure integrity of the bank’s general ledger accounts and compliance with relevant legislation.
2. Responsible for calculation of taxes VAT, CIT, PIT and timely reporting to tax office.
3. Control over compliance and completeness of daily, monthly reporting cycles to local authorities: Financial Supervisory Authority, National Bank and others.
4. Coordinate annual statutory audits and ensure submission of financial statements to relevant regulators.
5. Knowledge of accounting, tax, regulatory and legal aspects of credit institution’s operations.
6. Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of current and future accounting, tax, regulatory processes and issues.
7. Maintain internal accounting policies and procedures.
8. Maintain employee’s contracts, verification of monthly payrolls.

Účetní a auditorské činnosti

- directly reports to the Head of Administration,
- min. Bachelor degree in Accountancy/Finance/ ACCA qualification. Must have all legally required qualification to fulfill accountancy tasks alone.
- min. 5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in bank/financial institutions sector is preferred,
- detailed knowledge is required about czech accounting law, tax issues, national bank reporting, regulatory reporting,
- fluent in english and czech, chinese language knowledge is advantage,
- good MS Office skills, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel,
- able to work independently and highly meticulous.
