Network Specialist 2nd or 3rd level

Network Specialist - 2nd/3rd level support - English language

As 2nd/3rd level Network Specialist you will be responsible for configuring, managing and troubleshooting network equipment, developing root cause analysis, configuration changes or even advising and consulting with management / customer. You will be also responsible for the network expertise during the implementation of new solutions or extensions of existing ones and participating or leading network transformation and transitions.

Your day to day activities will include:

- Troubleshooting of incidents on LAN/MAN/WAN network components from various vendors (CISCO, Juniper, Checkpoint, HP, F5, Netscalar, Infoblox, BlueCoat, & Others)
- Developing Root Cause Analysis documents and presenting them to Customer representatives
- Investigating and analyzing repetitive issues on the network for resolution
- Planning & performing configuration changes on network devices
- Continuously reviewing network configurations (routing, firewall rules, VLAN configurations, Fabric, QoS, vPC, Stacking, LB profiles & others) for optimization opportunities
- Performance and capacity planning utilizing tools such as VitalNet, MRTG, Tivoli products etc...

How your profile should look like/ what is required:

- Proven knowledge, experience in trouble-shooting, switching, routing
- At least 2 years of working experience in Network services
- Flexibility, drive to achieve
- Interest in technical career path
- Good written and verbal English communication skills

What is good to have:

- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent, JNCP, other vendor certifications / Tool certification would be added advantage
- Working knowledge of ITIL - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management.
- Technically oriented university degree -would be added advantage
- Hands on F5/HP switches and Cisco Prime Infrastructure would be added advantage
- Experience with Cisco and Checkpoint devices
- Experience of Network security, WAN, WI-FI, etc.
- Working and basic experience on Virtualization technologies
