Senior C (Embedded) Developer - 100% home-office from anywhere

What you will do:
• Maintain the build mechanisms, and automate and perform initial functional testing prior to submission to Quality Engineering; submit bug fixes to the community
• Improve the current build systems and testing frameworks
• Communicate and coordinate dates, deliverables, feature requirements and roadmaps, etc.
• Optimize, debug, and tune KVM on Power
• Develop new KVM features
• Optimize and maintain KVM and QEMU code

What the client needs from you:
• Proven C or Assembler programming expertise
• Deep knowledge of the z Systems architecture (e.g. s390x)
• Experience working with kernel at the level of device drivers
• Experience with the Linux user space and system development
• Ability to work on your own
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Previous experience with open source projects
• Background in Linux low-level networking
• Experience with virtualization, KVM, and QEMU
