Job description, responsibilities and duties

Primary role of the position is to provide accurate management accounting and controlling supporting services of local entities.

Main responsibilities:
· Responsibility for the preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
· Reporting of financial results including annual local GAAP statutory accounts, quarterly reports to Board of committee, quarterly regulatory returns, SOX, review of balance sheets, balance sheet forecasting
· Review of financial and accounting process including revenue recognitions, commissions, fees, bad debt provisions, cancellations, unmatched receipts and payments
· Cooperation with Tax and local advisor to address transfer pricing requirements
· Working with Treasury and CFO to monitor FX exposure in the region and supporting central led initiatives
· Collaboration with Internal audit including review of reports and resolving control issues
· Managing of external relationships with auditors including liaison in relation to audit timetable, delivery to Audit committee, fees and accounting issues
· Responsibility for managing small team

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Czech - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

· Minimum Bachelor degree in finance or economy
· More than 5 years of working experience in accounting at a multinational company
· Relevant exposure to statutory reporting gained by working in financial services environment
· Knowledge and experience of local and US GAAP is a must
· Experience in managing a small team
· Native Czech /Slovak
· Fluent knowledge of English language
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office
· Desired knowledge of Oracle Hyperion
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Excellent communication, organizational skills
· Attention to details, analytical skills
· Possibility to start 1/2017 is necessary
