Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Account Receivable / Payable Specialist will be mainly responsible for processing internal and external supplier invoices and liaising with operational to solve issues with invoices. You will be also expected to timely reconciliation and review for all related accounts.
- To validate external and internal supplier, customer invoices, prepare commercial, non-commercial billing.
- Be responsible for preparing timely reconciliation and review of all related accounts
- To ensure inter-company reconciliations, manage cash-applications for non-sensitive customers
- To own communication and reconciliation of outstanding balances with external suppliers
- Be the contact person for business operational team in term of resolving any complex issues with invoices and payments
- To work closely with business stakeholders on processing exceptional items
- To initiate process improvements and participate in accounting initiatives
- Role is based in France. RELOCATION TO FRANCE MANDATORY

Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
- You are a qualified supplier accountant with a bachelor degree from an accredited university or college in accounting or finance (or a high school diploma with significant experience in an accounting role, or equivalent experience/knowledge), with at least a first experience in a similar role.
- Your English and ideally German skills allow you to work every day in these languages (written and verbal skills).
- You have a good understanding of accounting practices and are proficiency in MS office.
- You have good communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Your knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
- A fluent / basic competency in additional European language is a benefit
