Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the head of production systems, this position will deploy the Gebauer & Griller production system (G&G-PS) standards for safety, quality, delivery and costs in order to improve operational excellence. This position will be responsible for the adoption of further lean principles across the whole GG manufacturing footprint by leading pilot projects and executing training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defines standards for the Gebauer & Griller production system (G&G-PS) and trains local operational teams in their use
- Establishes a set of management routines together with plant managers, local continuous improvement coordinators and production managers
- Supports operational performance measurement plus management to improve operational results
- Promotes a customer focused culture in industrial operations and helps to transform operations by eliminating waste and focusing on added value
- Participates in initiatives to boost performance and to enhance G&G-PS in the perimeter
- Contributes to G&G-PS continuous improvement methodologies by dedicated application
- Follows up on plant objectives and KPI`s
- Consolidates benchmark and best practice deployment
- Audits the level of adoption of all defined G&G-PS standards and routines

Four year degree in a business or technical discipline, graduate degree desirable

Personality requirements and skills

YOUR PROFILE
- Four year degree in a business or technical discipline, graduate degree desirable
- Minimum of 3 years experience in leading and implementing lean projects in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, tools and methods including 5S, 7 wastes, Kaizen and Pull and value stream mapping
- Proven project management track record
- Experience of being a change agent and inspiring operational project teams to deliver results
- A passionate coach and role model for continuous improvements
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Auditing experience and/or qualification is beneficial
- Position is based in Poysdorf (main focus) and Vienna
- Willingness to travel
