IT Vendor Management Senior Specialist

Reports to: CTO

OVERVIEW
Nature and aim of the position
- Develop and optimize important strategic vendor management topics according to the Vendor Management policy with the goal of contributing to the increase of net income for the GB Technology organisation.
- Operation of Vendor Management strategy and vendor management policy.
- Managing external Vendors and internal Customers on behalf of the Vendor Management Team, interacting within established Vendors, managing purchase volumes and contracts, providing guidance on Vendor Management for external and internal teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Main duties and responsibilities
- Supplier Selection (in-house and existing vendors). Realization of preparation for the supplier selection process (Bidding/ Tender including RFI, RFQ, RFP placement) according to the Vendor Management Strategy.
- Qualification & Evaluation: Regular assessment of actual suppliers’ performance (services and materials quality, compliance with fixed requirements, delivery terms and conditions, etc.).
- Act as the key contact and subject matter expert for Technology contract-related financial management and tender activities.
- Create/ Review/ Establish contract: Standard contracts (Time and material (T&M) and Fixed-price contracts (FPC) and Hybrid contracts) and etc.
- Fulfil strategic suppliers’ negotiation and cooperation process.
- Identify and implement cost reductions potentials in the area of external spending.
- Control of General Vendor Management database.
- Claim management. To control and mitigate continuous violation of contractual obligations from the vendor side.
- Support the GB Technology employees and the collaborating Departments in placing the orders, and payment terms controls

Reporting and collaboration
- The IT Vendor Management Senior Specialist reports directly to IT Vendor manager.
- The holder of the position works close with a supports from Legal.
- The holder of the position collaborates in the area of all GB Technology needs.

Key competencies
- Control of Total Supply Chain Cost including delivering regular savings.
- Contract management.
- Experience in the control of high amount of vendors in operation.
