Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
You will be responsible for building company-wide Business Intelligence and reporting solutions through developments and enhancements to BI applications and data transformation services.
RESPONSIBILITIES / MAIN DUTIES:
Building reports, dashboards and other data visualisations
ETL SQL/SSIS optimisation and tuning
Building and changing the BO data warehouse
Building and testing data feed interfaces for other systems
Create and modify BO universes
Day-to-day support of the BI platform:
o SAP BusinessObjects XI 3 Business Intelligence
o SAP Crystal Reports
o Data Warehouse/Operational Data Store/Data marts
o ETL
o RDBMS
o User training and support

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Competencies:
Strong knowledge of database development at MS SQL Server
SQL Server tuning skills
Administration and maintenance of SQL Server (2008 and higher)
SAP BusinessObjects XI 3 Business Intelligence platform components knowledge plus it's administration, maintenance and optimisation especially for Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports.
Information Systems knowledge:
Databases, Reporting, Data Warehouse, ETL tools, Programming, Systems Analysis, Business Systems.
Fluent English (oral and written)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in one or combination of:
• SQL development on MS SQL Server
• ETL development (SQL Server DTS/SSIS,InformaticaPowerCenter, Oracle Warehouse Builder etc.)
• BO developments is of advantage
