IT Technical Specialist/Administrator

For our client, the international financial institution, we are looking for IT Technical Specialist / Administrator.

Job Description

Provide 1st and 2nd level on site IT support to local users
Maintain local IT infrastructure (VMware, Windows servers, storage, LAN, printers etc)
Provide application support, with help of IT Development team to local applications (PTS, Helios, payments-clearing interfaces, payroll and other)
Implement new IT projects and upgrades critical to support day-to-day bank operations
Implement strategic integration and transformation initiatives for Czech Republic.
Manage IT incident workflow with various internal IT teams and suppliers
Participate on IT change and problem management processes


Skillset

Strong IT technical support and implementation skills, knowledge of various technologies (VMware ESX, Veeam, Windows server 2003/8, Active Directory, MS SQL, SCCM, Cisco, EMC)
Previous experience from working in financial institution, knowledge of the banking processes and its specifics (regulatory, compliance)
Knowledge of the following applications and technologies is a benefit: PTS, Helios, Fire, .Net, MS Access, windows scripting
Proven experience in IT support and good understanding of service management techniques (including change/problem/incident management).
Good communication skills, problem solving and negotiation ability with non-technical users
Good English language skills both written and spoken
