Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Windows Engineer is focused on Build management, Release management, patches, HW&OS, virtualization, security, DR, backup/restore and all ITIL process mainly for the Virtualized environments.
Main responsibilities:
Analyzing problems and incidents on 3rd or 4th level of support (regional IT)
Actively propose service improvements
Managing and checking the problem solving of third parties
Coordination of major changes within the area of responsibility
Coordination and planning of infra related upgrades and patches
Define the standards for procedures describing the existing situation of HW&OS as well contributes on preparation of future infrastructure roadmaps
Testing of software and infrastructure components in cooperation with other departments to cover complexity of infrastructure within all tests
Preparing detailed level designs and work instructions within regional IT
