IT Security Specialist (Linux)

For our client, IT development centre, in Prague we are looking for an IT Security Specialist to join their Security Management team in Prague. The SM team delivers custom SIEM (Security Information Event Management), development and research of security aspects for systems and security expertise to the internal organization. Team members are responsible for day to day evaluation of the company’s security posture, security event analysis, development of security intelligence, and for a response to security incidents such as data compromise, unauthorized access, company policy and external regulations requirements.
We are offering a position for a candidate with following experience:

Task/Responsibilities:

Supporting tasks during analysis of log files for a set of applications,
Investigate audit files and logs to identify new security extensions and security incidents,
Transforming, normalizing, pre-processing and aggregating system auditing messages
Developing, testing and implementing new features of custom security evaluation software
Definition and development of sec. controls including those required of external regulations
Implementing reliable analysis mechanisms that are to be run offline & online
Contribute to and follow activities defined in security policies and procedure
