Our client is looking for a talented Infrastructure Engineer Java onto their team in Prague. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with some of the smartest people in the industry, on a fastpaced and motivated team. As a part of the Global Network Operations team, you will have the chance to affect the design and development of user interfaces for one of the world's largest corporate infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Technical design, development & review
• Feature implementation
• Issue identification and resolution
• Writing tests & documentation, keeping code clean, modular and selfsustaining

Employment Area:

• Software Development (Application Developer, Java, MySQL)
• Information Technology (Application Developer)

• 40 hours per week / flexible working time
• Project: internal tooling
• Work methodology:
○ Code review, unit test (currently about 80% coverage), static code analysis
○ Version control system, Build server, issue tracking tool, knowledge repository
○ QA engineers
○ Scrum environment
• Regular employee evaluation
• Company wide code styles,
• Laptop and workstation, 2 24’ displays, support of Mac, Linux and Windows

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Strong experience with Java programming language (primary goal is to develop a highly scalable infrastructure that integrates variety of systems and provides a rich web content)
• Strong experience with design of highly scalable systems (multitier, monolithic & modular architecture)
• Strong experience with API development (protocol buffers, apiary)
• Strong experience with 3rd party product integration
• Strong knowledge and experience on querying, designing relational databases (preferred MySQL/MariaDB experience)
• Experience in building complex web apps that have been successfully delivered to customers or users
• Ability to constructively work together with others to efficiently maintain and improve a large existing code base
• Knowledge of Web services protocols
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Feature effort estimation
• Good organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Degree in computer science or comparable degree
• 5+ years of proven relevant experience

• Google Compute Engine
• Experience with no relational databases
• Agile / Scrum development
• Team lead experience
• Feature prioritization
• Previous experience in working within geographically dispersed multicultural virtual teams
