IT Coordinator - Mechelen, Belgium

Our client is an international specialist and worldwide leader in development and manufacture of sensing equipment such as measuring instruments, vision systems, laser markers, automation sensors and others. For our client’s Headquarters located in Mechelen we are looking for an Sr. Technical Specialist

Tasks:

• Administration, monitoring and maintenance of our network (LAN/WAN/telephony)
• Responsible for data-security and backups
• IT support of all users for PC, Laptop, network, server, telecommunication
• Support for daily routine problems
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of all soft- and hardware
• Negotiate with external suppliers and consultants
• Find out the best solutions using current technology as well as partnership with external providers and also manage the implementation of such projects
• Collaboration with colleagues from other affiliates (Japan/Germany)

Profile:

• Degree in IT and preferably you have a first working experience
• Experience with VoIP (Cisco)
• Experience with user support for Microsoft Windows 7
• Basic skills of VBA and SQL are a plus
• Interpersonal skills: reliable, sense of responsibility & proactive attitude, good organizational and communication skills, person that can work in team as well as independent
• Languages: Fluent in English
• Working experience in an international environment is an advantage
