Chief Accountant/Junior Finance manager

For our significant client, an international fashion company based in Bratislava, we are looking for the right candidate for the position Chief Accountant/Junior Finance manager.

Your new role
As a Chief Accountant you will be responsible for a team of 3 Accountants and for accounting and operation of Slovak branch. You will be in charge of supervision of accounting processes and reporting to Country Manager CZ&SK and to headquarter in Italy. Your main responsibility will be to process all closing activities, cooperation with auditors and tax advisors. Moreover you will control correctness and in accordance to internal accounting principles and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced and accurate candidate with University Degree in Accountancy or Finance. An ideal candidate should have experience with similar position (accounting, controlling or auditing) and with people management. We also expect professional level of Slovak/Czech language and communicative English. Ideal candidate is a driven and communicative person with sense of responsibility and with positive attitude. Interest in fashion is more than welcome.
