Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles.
For their new IT Hub in Liberec they are looking for a IT Workplace Administrator / Architect.

Responsibilities:

o Support a global Skype for Business rollout project and our current Lync 2010 environment during the migration phase
o Project Member for our global “Microsoft Cloud Project” with dependencies to other products like Azure, Sharepoint, Onedrive, O365 and more
o Part of our global IT Collaboration Team, mainly based in Germany and Austria and work on the further development of our standard client
o Assisting in the monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting our Lync environment including, but not limited to Lync endpoints, SBCs and Audicodes Gateways
o Point of contact for client support request delivered via the ServiceNow ticketing system, driving resolution in accordance with well-established policies and procedures.
o Provide remote and onsite technical support when needed
o When required you will also participate in project activity and change execution within the client environment
o Deploy patches and maintain our Lync & SfB environment as part of the team
o Migrating classical PBX locations (Avaya, Polycom, etc.) to our Lync & SfB environment
o Act as liaison for escalations to 3rd party vendors
o Train our local and regional IT Organization to support 1st and 2nd Level SfB issues in the future

Professional Skills:

o Microsoft Certification appreciated:
 MCSE: Communication
 Core Solutions of Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (70-334)
 Deploying Enterprise Voice with Skype for Business 2015 (70-333)
or the equivalent Lync Certifications
o Configuration and troubleshooting of Windows based computers in a global Enterprise environment

Personnel skills:

o Experience in an international team / global support role
o Language skills: English fluent, German would be a benefit
o Enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g. ITIL v3 processes) appreciated
o Ability to work 8-12 weeks (dived in parts) at Munich HQ or Regional Service Center EMEA (near Vienna) to get familiar with the Job/Team
