Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Manage and train team members to carry out the activities of the department
* Evaluate team members and propose steps for further development
* Manage all activities related to fixed assets (FA) accounting during the FA lifecycle – creation, changes of FA master data, capitalization and disposals in compliance with the company’s corporate standards
* Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
* Act as main contact partner for SSC Business Partners and provide professional accounting advice for FA management
* Closely cooperate with all levels of Henkel Finance departments
* Directly interact with internal and external audits on a quarterly basis

Personality requirements and skills
* University degree in Finance, Accounting or Audit
* Advanced level of English is a MUST, knowledge of German is an advantage
* At least 3 years of related accounting experience, including at least 1 - 2 years of experience as a Team Leader
* Knowledge of IFRS along with audit background is an advantage
* Advanced MS Excel skills and experience in using SAP
* Effective, problem solving and detail-oriented person
* Process and analytical thinking
* Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
* Experience in a multinational company and environment is an advantage
* Advanced level of English is a MUST, knowledge of German is an advantage
