Job description, responsibilities and duties

SAP PI Consultant is responsible for design, development, implementation and technical quality of enterprise solutions that involve both technologies and subsystems, and have a business impact on the client. Work at group level to provide tactical technical solutions and support for corporate strategies. May lead design, development and implementation of architecture or architectural components for projects and direct related local and 3P technical activities. Apply enhanced subject matter knowledge to resolve basic and complex issues and craft solutions at local and country levels.



Main Responsibilities:


Technical

· Deliver 2nd and 3rd level application support for clients
· Demonstrate advanced level of expertise with technology
· Design architectures at enterprise level
· Deliver solutions/services throughout whole lifecycle
· Identify and address technical risk

Professional/consulting

· Align technical orientation to audience level
· Build and maintain relationships
· Build and maintain project/program teams
· Build rapport and trust with client
· Consult on IT market, strategies, and trends
· Collaborate with management
· Maintain business/technology/industry expertise
· Represent HP as solution architect
· Promote internal industry information exchange

General business/project management

· Act as technical team leader for systems segments
· Develop project scope
· Manage costs at solution/service level
· Contribute/lead local and country technical activities
· Use systems and tools to perform functions of job

Sales/marketing

· Assist with identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities
· Develop and deliver sales presentations
· Position HP offering against the competition
· Provide HP with voice of the account
· Prospect and qualify potential opportunities

• University degree in Electrical Engineering /Informatics/Economy
• 3 -10 years working experience in IT industry
• SAP PI certification and track of successful project implementation
• Subject matter knowledge independence
• English language skills
• Experience in public sector as an application consultant is an asset
• ABAP programming skills is an asset
