Job description, responsibilities and duties
EMEA ESS Supply chain supports the HP business by delivering products and services to customer expectation, allowing HP to attain revenue and profit targets. Within this dynamic global environment Planning is there to ensure demand is accurately forecast and product supply is positioned to ensure material availability in support of EMEA customer orders to the agreed service levels.
The EMEA ISS supply planning analyst is responsible for planning and coordinating supply management and business processes for your assigned products. Partners with stakeholders in production, procurement and partner management, at both the regional and the ww level to collect and summarize supply availability. Translates supply information into product risk analysis, which allows supply prioritization and allocation to optimize the EMEA business results. Time horizon is typically focused on less than six months. Leading and working with cross-functional teams, creates and implements plans that enable the execution of business strategies. Participates in the process by which demand signals are developed. Supports the demand planner in setting accurate supplier response times (SRT’s). Validates demand signals at the component/MRP level. Represents EMEA in ww supply allocation meetings. Validates supply expedite- and air-freight requests from suppliers. Prepares approval requests for management. Analyses E&O and aged inventory position of EMEA ISS to protect the EMEA business results.
