Job description, responsibilities and duties
Profile summary:
Your role will be to take over development and support of existing software products and solutions, prepare product documentation, engage in implementations for new customers. Bring clients tested, reliable, and repeatable service and support.
Responsibilities
• Analyze customer/business requirements and translate these into software specifications which will be developed by the team into the product.
• Design and develop software products for workplace management and client automation.
• Provide time and effort estimation for the development activities.
• Develop client and server side components using .NET, WCF, Entity Framework, SQL queries.
• Responsible for design, code, unit tests, integration and bug fixing.
• Maintenance and development of changes on existing software products.
• Prepares technical design documents based on business requirements.
• Develop supporting scripts using VBScript and/or PowerShell.
• Follows architectural guidelines and code standards within the company.
• Prepares product documentation, user guides and manuals.
• Works with teams to re-engineer existing software.
• TSQL (MS SQL 2008R2) based reporting queries: Functions, Views, and Stored Procedures.
• SSRS 2008R2 based reporting development and maintenance.
• Provide express bug fixing/workarounds to urgently address problems with business impact.
