What`s this about

For our startup we are looking for a general assistant. The key responsibilities will be to support the chief`s activities. That includes work related to office work (90%) and assisting with personal matters (10%).
The most important part of this job is to be able to learn and be able to handle multiple tasks.

What you will do

For the better part of your work, you will:
- keep track of ongoing projects
- contact clients and update their billing info
- help write processes
- help with marketing tasks
- help with hiring.

All will be done under the supervision of the Chief.

This is a general assistant role- you will occasionally be asked to carry out other tasks as well when needed.

This is how some of the typical tasks might go down for you:

- here is a list of our clients, here is an email template (after a while you might create the template yourself). Take a look at the email template and tell me what you think about it. Once we agree on the final version, send it to all our clients. After replies are received, we will discuss what the outcome and the takeaway is, i.e. what steps we should take
- we need to hire a new person. Here is a template job description that we use. Please change it to reflect what we need. Once we approve the final version, post it on website XY. Go through replies that we receive, print them out and get back to the chief on this at the end of the week. Later on, invite candidates to a next round of interviews
- here is a list of projects we are currently working on with deadlines and activities that need to be done. When I send you an email related to any of these, update accordingly. Keep track of all the deadlines and keep me updated if something is not done and DL is tomorrow.
- book my squash court, golf tournament, social event etc.

What you can expect

- You will come to our office about 20+hrs/wk
- You will get an Apple computer to work on
- Later on, you might get a company phone if deemed necessary
- Close cooperation with the Chief/owner of the company and mentoring
- Loads of business experience
- Starting salary of 100CZK/hour

Who you should be/What you should be able to do

- Work with a computer
- Speak/write English (Czech is not necessary), Spanish is a big plus
- Be presentable in person, in writing and via phone
- Be multitasking, willing to learn and work hard
- Be responsible and proactive, ideally with previous experience
- Finished high school; studying/finished university is a plus
