Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Work with US development teams, Honeywell CZ development teams, various customers, and various certification authorities to perform hardware and system development certification activities
* Coordinate software and system development certification activities with internal teams, customers and certification authorities * Conduct hardware certification audits based on DO-254 standard
* Support systems certification activities based on ARP-4754A standard
* Participate in and coordinate regulatory and customer certification audits
* Support certification requirements definition for development and design
* Support European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) liaison activities

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* BS in Engineering or Computer Science
* Experience in the development, testing, or certification of, complex electronic devices such as FPGA, ASIC, or PLD according to RTCA DO-254
* Knowledgeable in the area of design, integration, testing, and certification of avionics systems involving hardware development
* Excellent command of English language mandatory
* Must meet any applicable Export License restrictions

Nice to have:
* Candidate should have knowledge of system/hardware processes
* Specific experience in hardware (FPGA, ASIC, PLD) development
* A solid understanding of ARP-4754A and RTCA DO-160
* Capability to coordinate supplier finding compliance activities plans with the certification authorities, customers, and Honeywell technical/program managers
* Capable of coordinating the work of different Honeywell Avionics certification and engineering groups relative to the finding compliance activities processes
