Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Specialist in logistics with focus in all aspects of the warehouse management area including but not exclusive to
- Logistics master data, e.g. transportation zones, routing, etc.
- Inbound
- Outbound
- Returns process
- Warehouse logistics including paper based operations and radio frequency enabled warehouses( Including the operation, setup, training and deployment of hand held radio frequency (RF) devices)
- Relevant value-added services, e.g. kitting and packaging
- Delivery
- Transportation
- Freight forwarder integration, including tracing, and tracking and freight payment
- National and international trade compliance and reporting
- Associated data and reporting

In depth SAP transactional and process expertise in various SAP tasks throughout the project life cycle. This will include feasibility assessment, scope determination, drafting of process designs and functional specifications, solution validation, creation of business test scenarios and the execution of testing in a formal environment
- Proactively partners with other international teams in order to successfully complete the above.
- Work with functional team to fully understand the global design model (GDM) for Logistics in SAP

Shares technical and functional information with others as needed, supports actively cross-
functional knowledge sharing, provides training to users

Working with the Reporting Implementation leader; specify reporting needs, review and test enhancements \ customizations and validate reports developed by the BI \ reporting team
Be a champion of change and execution of change management strategies working alongside the Change and Learning leader.
Responsible for providing super user training, co-creation of training material and support of end user training.
Need to understand, follow, comply and carry out all project deliverables to a proven project methodology. Complete deliverables and milestones in a timely, quality manner, as prescribed by the project schedule
Supports deployments during the post golive phase of the project.
Educate the leadership on the benefits of the “To-Be” design and the change implications for their organization.
Works and frequently communicates with internal customers, understands and integrates business requirements
Help the business to identify opportunities for standardize processes across sites within the SBU
Work with business process owners, change & learning and security teams to develop and map existing and new organizational roles to fulfill the “To-Be” business processes
Be a team member working in lock step withthe implementation team collaborating professionally and taking responsibility for cross- functional deliverables where required.
Maintains a thorough understanding of business functions and combines that knowledge with the ability to easily facilitate change

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

University or College degree
Experienced in real warehouse operations of the end to end business process
Proven track record in major SAP change programs
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate within a team
Strong problem solving skills coupled with the ability to apply various tools in resolving complex problems
Knowledge of the SAP configuration, specification, development and testing of enhancements in the modules of WM and MM but also good cross functional SAP knowledge especially in the SD, SCM, LO, IM and BW areas.
