Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Support Gasoline Product Line and Customer Teams with Turbocharger Matching and Product Portfolio definition.
* Translate boosting needs of new gasoline engines in product targets.
* Propose, oversee and analyse testing to assess boosting system performance impact and to support the target setting for new boosting devices.
* Investigate new technologies and new technology needs to allow advance engineering projects focus on proper market needs.
* Interface and work directly with customer performance and advance technology engineers
Qualifications:
* Master's Degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in combustion engines, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, emissions, or engine design.
* Understanding of powertrain simulation and engine testing; Familiarity with GT-Suite or Ricardo WAVE is preferred.
* Practical experience with engine calibration and/or vehicle testing is a plus.
* Multi tasking capabilities.
* Ability to deliver results in a complex environment; managing conflicting goals.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
