Industrial Engineer (00257612)

* Leading design projects to collaborate and develop convincing products with solid stories and great user experience
* Maintaining a continued understanding of the marketplace, competition, industry, methods and relevant trends
* Taking an active interest and proactive approach to gain a solid fundamental understanding of the company’s objectives
* Drive communication of the product’s design intent to engineering staff and manufacturers
* Working with clients to determine the design requirements for new products
* Designing products with the needs and wants of a specific audience
* Producing detailed drawings and design specifications including parts lists and costing
* Testing product designs using models, prototypes, specialist computer software and CAD technology
* Develop/implement industrial standards and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in industrial design
* Previous experience in industrial design and product development
* Experience and proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop etc.
* Experience developing products
* Solid, proven understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
