Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
*The Instructional Designer is responsible for all aspects of training development, including but not limited to curriculum design, storyboarding, instructional strategies and development of modules which incorporate adult learning principles, assessment techniques, appropriate integration of instructional technologies and best practices. Candidates should have a portfolio of sample courseware.
Responsibilities
*Working with managers and subject matter experts to review needs assessment and/or job-task analysis information to determine focus of training content, and to ensure focus is on increasing the ability of employees to be successful at their job.
*Developing courseware which includes developing storyboards for content flow and review by subject matter experts.
*Incorporating adult learning principles in the development of all training to create a truly engaging learning experience for the employee.
*Creatively incorporating graphics, animations, digital audio, video, other multimedia elements and interactivity into the training modules produce engaging, interactive courses.
*Creating program evaluations and assessments based on course objectives to determine effectiveness of training.
*Managing multiple projects simultaneously and working under aggressive timeframes in order to meet production deadlines.

Personality requirements and skills
*3+ years as an Instructional Designer developing eLearning modules courseware, and using PowerPoint animation features.
*Experience developing eLearning modules with Articulate Presenter (including Engage and Quizzmaker), Articulate Storyline a plus.
*University Degree
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent interpersonal skills.
